Anna Noakes

Anna Noakes has performed concerti with major London Orchestras as well as giving numerous recitals, as both, soloist and chamber musician, at the Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room and at many of Britain’s most respected Festivals.

She has recorded numerous CD’s featuring solo and flute chamber music for ASV, Naxos, Dutton Epoch and Guild and Kingdom, receiving Gramophone Magazine’s coveted “Critics Choice” a number of times. She broadcasts for BBC Radio3 and Classic FM and works as Guest Principal Flute with the LPO, Philharmonia, RPO, ASMF, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, together with OSJ, Manning Camerata, CLS and London Musici.

Anna is Professor of Flute at Trinity College of Music, and for the past fourteen years has run her own Summer School for talented flute students, “A Breath of Fresh Air”.

She is Artistic Director of the Yoxford Arts Festival.

Richard Hand

Richard was an open scholar at the Royal Academy of Music where he won the Julian Bream Prize, the String Players’ Prize and the Academy’s highest award: the Recital Diploma. He has been a frequent concerto soloist and is a member of the Hand-Dupre  Duo, the Pro Arte Trio, The English Guitar Quartet and Tetra.

Richard has performed at the Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St.John’s Smith Square, the Barbican and at the Proms as well as in over thirty countries around the world, from the U.S.A. to the Far East. He has broadcast on radio and television internationally, recorded numerous C.D.s and premiered many works by leading composers.

He has been elected an associate of the Royal Academy of Music in the light of his ‘international broadcasting and performing career’.
