Elizabeth Hayes

Elizabeth Hayes trained with Phyllis Sellick at the Royal College of Music, winning all the major piano prizes during her time there and launching a successful performing career. She has appeared at major venues in the UK, including the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room on London’s South Bank, St. John’s Smith Square, Snape Maltings for the Aldeburgh Festival and the Fairfield Halls.

Success in several international competitions has led to further recital and concerto appearances, and her work has received much critical acclaim. Her work as a recitalist for P&O Cruises has taken her worldwide since 1992, and she is also in great demand as an accompanist and chamber musician.

Previous recordings include Fantasie – works by Brahms and Debussy, and Play, a selection of classical and romantic pieces, on Regent Records. She has broadcast on Classic FM, and appeared in the John Schlesinger film Madame Sousatzka.
